Is anyone else having trouble getting rid of the last 1000 or so tweets/retweets?
I’ve downloaded my data package and it’s deleted quite a bit but it seems to be struggling with the last 1000 tweets/retweets.
I can literally see them still on my account but when I run redact, it says “Deletion Complete”
Am I missing something?

Had this exact issue last week mate. Twitters cache takes a few hours to catch up properly. Ran the delete twice, second pass picked up everything I ha missed first time round. Fair play to Redact for handling it cleanly on the rerun didn’t even have to faff with the settings.
If it’s been more than a day and posts are still showing, might be worth looking at whether they’re being served from a thirdparty archive rather than the live site. WaybackMachine and the like will keep their snapshots regardless of what you delete on the platform.
