Redact did not delete any of my Reddit content

Mac OS Tahoe, version 0.21.18

Redact ran all night and yet nothing was deleted. Is this app a scam? Should I be worried about my data?

Yo, certainly not a scam.

Sometimes issues like this occur due to account-specific stuff, authentication issues with certain platforms, or other temporary issues.

You can email our support team, or open a ticket on our Discord server - both linked here.

If you’d prefer to do some basic troubleshooting first try;

  1. Fully exit + reopen Redact
  2. Log out of Redact, then back in
  3. Log out of Reddit inside Redact, then reconnect it
