I don’t for the life of me see the tools for mass removing my FB messenger messages, can someone help? Thank you.
Are you in Redact’s Facebook Messenger tools or normal Facebook tools?
Not sure what you mean? I’m in the Facebook thing within the Redact app but I don’t see anyplace to load up FB messenger messages for removal. Are you sure Redact deletes messenger messages? You know, messenger is sort of seperate from normal facebook.
If you want to bulk remove messages from FB Messenger, you need to login to the FB Messenger tools specifcally, which are different than our normal FB tools. Check the image to see what I mean.
The first one in the image with the red line, that’s probably where you logged into. In reality, you need to go back to the accounts tab in your redact app and scroll down further until you see the Messenger link and login to that.
Hello @UnknownUser , what Tristan is trying to say is we have two different axes for Facebook, well 3 actually if you count the one we have for Facebook Business Pages. We have the normal Facebook tools, then we have the Facebook Messenger Tools as well. If you’re trying to do a mass deletion from Facebook Messenger, you gotta login to the Facebook Messenger tools within Redact (as seen in Tristan’s image)
