facebook refuses to let me send a friend request it’s so annoying. Has this happened to any of you before?
One possibility is the person youre trying to add has their privacy settings locked down so only friends of friends can send them a request. In that case it wont even show an error it just quietly wont go through. I’d say it’s worth checking if its one specific person or everyone. if its everyone its a rate block if its one person its their privacy settings.
You know this same thing happened to me and I for real thought I’d been reported. But it urns out I added like 6 people from a group in one night and fb throttled me which is weird IMO, why would I get rate limited for 6 people? Seems really weird to me.
Anyway, I waited it out and it came back, I thinkyou’re just moving too fast for meta’s liking.
