Mass deleting pics from google photos

sup guys, can redact bulk delete photos off google photos?

Go to photos.google.com and open the main Photos view then click the checkmark on the first pic you want gone. Then scroll down to load a bunch more and hold Shift and click the last pic in that chunk to select everything in between. Hit the trash can and confirm “Move to trash.”

If you’re doing this to free up storage, don’t forget to go into Trash and empty it after, stuff in Trash still counts against your storage until you clear it out.

to answer your OG question, no redact doesn’t offer bulk deletion options for google photos.

Redact cant bulk delete Google photos right now so you’re stuck doing manually it within Google Photos itself.

I thought google photos got shut down when they shut down google+

google and apple products are the only two platforms Redact wont mess with, I’ll let you guess why that is haha

This is what we’d recommend right now. Redact isn’t currently able to mass delete from Google photos, unfortunately.

Yeah this one comes up a lot and the annoying part is Google Photos doesn’t really give third parties a clean “delete my whole library” API to work with. Most true “mass delete” solutions end up being either manual UI bulk-select or browser automation that clicks through the Photos web UI the same way a human would
