Adding one thing the thread hasn’t covered which is that even on a suspended account you can usually still request your data archive through Discord’s privacy request portal. That works whether or not you can log in. If there’s anything in your DMs you want to keep (photos shared with friends, stuff you’re sentimentally attached to), submit the data request before pushing the deletion forward, otherwise once the hard delete clears at day 30 the archive is gone too.
Run the math on whether it’s worth it. For a few weeks of waiting, you get back any data you actually want to preserve, plus the deletion timer runs in the background regardless of what you’re doing. The only real cost is the patience.
