Is Redactr against Discord TOS?

Wondering if Redactr is against the Discord TOS. I’m told that Discrub, another Discord mass-deletion app, is technically not allowed because of “self-bottling”. I don’t know what that is; does that apply here? Thanks.

Hey there, read section 1 here if you’re curious to learn more about this: Redact Enterprise - Legal

ToS docs change regularly, but the information above is grounded in section 230(c)(2)(b) which should be more consistent.

Thanks for the information. Can Redactr wipe messages from servers I’ve left?

Thanks.

I believe you’d need to rejoin - we can only delete what you can delete. We just do it automatically / faster

Thanks for the information.

I was reading threads on discord support about this very topic and I didn’t see anything legally concrete that says we cant do this. I think like wooly said above it’s hard for Discord to stop being from using this app and not trip themselves up on the 230(c)(2)(b) regulations
