Does redact allow for the mass removal of Spotify likes? I have liked 1000+ songs on spotify and I need to delete the likes and I dont want to do it by hand
At the moment, the Spotify app is down for maintenance and upgrading. It is unknown when it will be live again. That said, here are our Spotify features:
-
Mass Delete Artists, Songs, Albums, Playlists & Followed Podcasts
-
Delete Songs From Multiple Playlists
-
Delete All Spotify Activity by Date Range
-
Delete or Preserve Spotify Songs and Follows for Specific Artists
-
Delete or Preserve Spotify Songs and Follows by Title or Description
-
Delete Your Spotify Account History
what type of device are you using? its different for mobile and desktop.
If you’re on desktop, you can usually wipe Liked Songs pretty fast without doing 1,000 clicks. Open Spotify, go to Liked Songs, click the first track, then use Shift + click to grab a big range (or Ctrl+A / Cmd+A if it behaves), then hit Delete or “Remove from Liked Songs.” You’ll probably have to do it in a few chunks if your library is huge.
On mobile, Spotify is way more painful and it’s mostly one-by-one. Also looks like Redact’s Spotify connection is currently down for maintenance (per Tommy), but once it’s back, mass removing likes should be exactly the kind of thing it can handle.
If you’re trying to wipe 1000+ likes then i’d say to do it on desktop. Spotify makes you earn your deletes on mobile.
Also worth noting Redact’s Spotify tool is currently down for maintenance, but mass deleting songs is literally one of the features listed for when it’s back up.
