Does anyone here know if you get a copy of your followers list when you download your IG account data?

Yep all your followers are included. you gotta wait for that email from the Accounts Center and it can take like two days sometimes, which is annoying, but once it shows up just download the ZIP and unzip it on your pc or phone.

Inside the main folder look for another one called “followers\_and\_following.” That’s where all the good stuff is. You’ll see files called followers.html or followers.json. If you just want to read the names, open the .html one because it looks way cleaner. The .json one is more for like if you’re trying to code something with the data.

FYI if you’re popular and have a ton of followers, they might split the list into a few different files like followers\_1 and followers\_2. Also you should know that it usually just shows the handles not their actual profile links or pix. If you don’t see it right away check if there’s a “connections” subfolder in there too.
