I know someone who uses your app on Discord to sort-of manage his server. Remove topics, people, DMs, etc. He said there is a discord admin feature that allows him to do this.
So I control a pretty large sub-reddit and would there be any use for me as a moderator of a sub? I didn’t see anything on the features list suggesting so, just wanted to double check.
Short answer - Redact can’t be used for subreddit moderation.
The main reason for this; subreddit mods can’t actually ‘delete’ posts from other users - they can ‘remove’ them from the subreddit, and ‘lock’ them to prevent further engagement. But only the user can actually delete the post. (reddit mod thread explaining this here)
Most of the automation moderators want can be built using Reddit’s built in automod features (details here)
If you do find yourself needing to take repetitious, basic actions as a subreddit mod feel free to make a feature request and we can investigate automating it
